Tried them on Bob, worked well, good protection, stayed in place but the back side of the shin pad is basically flat, however when tightened they will curve more than they are. I don't anticipate the grip dots will stay on for long, however I ware shoes And will not put the strap around the bottom of the shoe, just around the back of the leg at the ankle and the pad rests on top of the shoe and stays in place when kicking.

I used this in my garage on a 100lb hydrostrike bag.Without the spring, any impact on the bag would rattle the garage door and throwing any hard strikes that actually made the bag lift up and drop made the whole building shake.I put the spring on and it was dead silent for the first couple of weeks of every other day usage.Its starting to make some noise again so im assuming the spring isnt quite as tight anymore but i would still buy it again.When it was brand new it was absolutely perfect.
